About Me
I have been licensed and ensured in the state of Colorado since April 2016. I have also completed a national background check, am CPR and first aid certified through the state of Colorado. I complete up to 15 hours of training every year which includes EQIT, SIDS, safe sleep, and shaken baby syndrome. My personal goal is to make sure each child under my care is prepared for Kindergarten by the time they leave my care (and we have fun doing it!) I don't just teach the basics of what they need, but I encourage the children to learn beyond what they need, at the pace of their own individual levels.
Health & Safety
Safety is our top priority at Lisa's Kid Corner which maintains the highest standards of health, cleanliness, and hygiene to ensure a healthy environment for all children. At Lisa's Kid Corner, we're dedicated to being a low sugar daycare. I only do sugar treats for special occasions (i.e. birthdays and holidays) and I try to use natural sugars when possible. I'm trained to handle emergency situations and adhere to strict safety protocols all to give you peace of mind when it comes to your children. I use an ion air purifier installed in my AC that helps to kill airborne allergens and viruses. To ensure radon levels always stay low in my home, I have installed a Radon Mitigation system. We also have a water purification system to make sure that we have the best drinking water for the kids!
